It has come to the attention of this Mission that an individual, whose identity is being investigated, is making contact using Lebanese WhatsApp numbers claiming to be Ambassador Rami Mortada and requesting financial assistance for needy families or patients. We kindly request that such contacts be reported to us, noting that Ambassador Rami Mortada has not made any similar calls, and it is not his practice to adopt such methods.
