To legalise any document, it must be notarized by a Public Notary and legalized by the British Foreign Office. One copy of each original document (front and back) is mandatory (and any other documents that the Embassy deems necessary to review for the purpose). The consular fees are paid in cash and in the local currency as follows:
Certificate of Origin (should accompany the Commercial Invoice)
The document should be certified by the Arab British Chamber of Commerce
£20.00 for the certificate of origin with one attached invoice
£39.00 for the certificate of origin with two or more attached invoices (the same date and number of bills should be stated)
Commercial Invoice
The document should be certified by the Arab British Chamber of Commerce
£4.00 per £1,000.00 rounded to the nearest 1000 (Minimum fees: £35.00, Maximum fees: £2,404.00)
Commercial Document

Signature Power of Attorney
Cash or postal order payable to the Embassy of Lebanon in the amount of £77.00 for general power of attorney and £39.00 for special power of attorney per signature plus extra fees (applied only if the amount of money is stated in the power of attorney, £1.00 per £1,000.00, Maximum fees: £2,404.00).

For Real Estate matters : provide a copy of the deed of property or a recent registry certificate (not older than tow months).
For a Power of Attorney to sell, register or receive a car: provide a copy of the deed of property of the car in question.
For a Banking Power of Attorney : POA's text from the Bank, the name of the bank/branch and the account number.
For marriage/divorce : provide a copy of the passport or identity card of the person evolved, and determine the court (religious, civil, etc.).
For inheritance : Death Certificate of the person concerned.
For cancellation of a Power of Attorney : provide a copy of the Power of Attorney designated.
Any other documents that the Embassy deems necessary to review.
For applicants 70 years old or above, a medical report is required, stating that the applicant is of sound mind and mentally fit.
